Donate to the Axe Athletics Endowment
Background
We know that for some students, athletics is a point of engagement that makes a big difference in their long-term scholastic success. For others, athletics combine with academics to launch them to high-level collegiate and career success. And we believe high-quality athletics experiences help build superior citizens. The Axe Athletics Endowment Fund aims to support high-quality athletics experiences for the greatest number of students at South Eugene High School.

Beginning with the initial major contribution from Axe Hall of Fame Dinner Founding Sponsor, The Kendall Auto Group, the Axemen Athletic Endowment has grown to provide long-term support for athletics at South Eugene High School. The initial fund contributions, including significant gifts from Bi-Mart, William Cornog ‘82, and Michelle and Bill Service ’79, enabled the establishment of an endowed investment fund now managed by the Oregon Community Foundation. The proceeds of the fund support athletics at South Eugene High School or any successor institutions in perpetuity.
Purpose
Provide resources to support high-quality athletics experiences for the maximum number of South Eugene High School students. This can be achieved with high-quality coaching, facilities, equipment, workouts, practices, and competitions.
