Friends of South was honored to be able to grant $14,050 in funds this academic year to 4 different categories at South.

Awarded in the Arts - $5,600:

• $ 2,250 for Visual Arts display case in South Theater lobby 

• $ 3,000 to South Theater for new sound mic system

$350 for Pathfinder Sewing Machine

​

Awarded for Student Needs - $ 1,100:

$1,000 to Special Ed/Justice League for program supplies

$100 to School Nurse for student tea cart 

​

Awarded to Academics - $ 3,600:

• $ 700 to the Career Center for volunteers

• $2,000 to Math department for mobile whiteboards​

• $650 to Speech & Debate

$250 to Math classes for supplies

​

Awarded to the Athletics - $3,750:

• $2,700 in funds to South Baseball team for hitting cages

.• $ 1,050 to South Swim team for meet equipment
